Villa Kopararova is a traditional Finnish log house equipped with all the comforts of modern living. This lovingly kept family-owned holiday home is perfectly situated amid scenic Lapland wilderness right on the border of Finland’s largest national park - yet easily accessible by car and public transport. The large self-catering villa is only a short drive away from the services of Kiilopää Fell Centre and the village of Saariselkä.

Villa Kopararova is a cozy and spacious traditional log cabin nestled in the heart of Finnish Lapland. Located approximately 250 km north of Rovaniemi, near the road that runs from Kakslauttanen to Kiilopää, the villa is conveniently close to both the Kiilopää fell center and Saariselkä ski resort. The backyard opens to beautiful views over the Kiilo-oja stream and the vast UKK National Park. Despite its private setting, the villa is easily accessible by car, bus, and airplane connections. There is ample parking space for several vehicles. A bus stop is located one kilometer away at the Kiilopääntie junction, served by both the airport shuttle and the local ski bus.

Villa Kopararova offers excellent conditions for holiday stays and fantastic year-round outdoor activities. There is a short connecting trail leading directly from the yard to well-maintained ski tracks in winter and hiking and cycling routes in snow-free seasons. These trails connect to the broader outdoor networks around the whole of Kiilopää and Saariselkä area.

The 190 m² log cabin, built from sturdy pine logs, features a large, open living room with windows offering beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. The living area is a welcoming space that includes an open kitchen and a large dining area, ideal for big groups. The rustic log furniture beautifully matches the peaceful atmosphere of the cabin and its surroundings. Watching the flames flicker in the large natural stone fireplace and enjoying the warmth of the wood-heated private sauna are perfect ways to unwind after a day of outdoor activities.

Villa Kopararova has six bedrooms located in a quiet wing of the house, ensuring peace and privacy away from the kitchen and living area. Three of the bedrooms have double beds; three of these also include two fold-out extra beds, and one has a sofa bed. The two smaller bedrooms each have two separate beds. A hallway separates the living area from the bedrooms, with two toilets located in between. A sauna, showers and a third toilet are located at the opposite end of the house. The entrance is via a spacious cold entry area situated between the bedroom wing and the sauna section. There is also a dedicated space for storing and maintaining outdoor gear.

Since 1968, this traditional log villa has been a sought-after holiday destination under a couple of different owners. For the last ten years it has served as our private family getaway. We are now opening our beloved retreat again for rental to families, groups of friends, remote workers, or small groups meeting for workshops or hobbies. Villa Kopararova provides an excellent base for enjoying pristine Finnish nature, engaging in various outdoor activities, spending quality time together or just relaxing in a peaceful environment.
